Warriors breaking the record, Kobe's Last Game.
Welcome back you guys. Today I wanted to talk about Kobe's last game as well as the Golden State Warriors new record, but first let's talk about Golden State. The Warriors were on pursuit of trying to tie or break the 1995-1996 Chicago Bulls best record ( 72-10). They tied the record beating the Spurs and now had a chance to break it if they beat the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday. As most people know, they did pull out a win meaning that they hold the best record of all time with 73 wins and 9 losses. This is a crazy record to break but the Warriors were determined to break it and they did. I'd like to congratulate the Warriors for holding the best record of all time. Anyways moving on, let's talk about Kobe's last game which is what most people are talking about. To end his long and wonderful 20 year career, Kobe played one more time at Staples Center against the Utah Jazz. I did hear that Staples Center was extremely crowed with Lakers fans around the world and this does show the amount of people that support and love Kobe from all over the world. During the first couple minutes of the game, Kobe was on a shooting slump missing multiple shots. Then things changed, he started to make his shots consistently and began to add up his point total. At half time he had around 25 points. Now in the second half of the game, that's when the Black Mamba came alive, he was a scoring machine. At the end of the third quarter he had 37 points and was expected to rest for half of the 4th quarter but suddenly he was out on the court to play the entire fourth quarter. Now the fourth quarter was extremely exciting. He was making almost all his shots and the crowed exploded when he made the mid range jumper to take the lead. He had 58 points before he was fouled to shoot his last free throws of his career. His first career points were from free throws and his final points would also be from free throws. Kobe had 60 points in total leaving a bang to his career. Anyways. thank you for reading and tune in for next weeks blog.
