Jordan Brand Releasing Ugly Shoes?

So this weekend there was a lot of sneaker releases but at the same time a lot of them were a bit overpriced and pointless. There were a couple of shoes that I did like but not to a point to purchase a pair. To be exact 4 pairs of shoes released on Saturday. The shoes that did release were the Jordan 10 Heiress, Jordan 10 Rio, Jordan 9 Low Bright Mango, and the KD 8 EXT floral. Let's start off with the Jordan 10 Heiress. Basically, it is a black and off white shoe but the shoe was only released in grade school sizes. The shoe will cost you 150 dollars. Moving on to the next shoe, we have the Jordan 10 Rio. This model was released in Men's sizes. The shoe is a light gray and navy blue and on the outsole it is a pattern of blue and green. Personally, I'm not a big fan of the shoe because it does remind me of a tropical theme. These will cost you 190 dollars if you would like to purchase a pair. The next shoe which I think is a little bit crazy is the Jordan 9 low Infrared/Bright Mango. What makes this shoe a little bit bizarre is the bright red color used on the shoe. Once again, I don't like the shoe but if you do you can purchase it for 170 dollars. The final shoe we have on this list is the KD 8 EXT Floral. This shoe is probably one of my favorite KD 8 models. I really like the floral upper and the black outsole. I would definitely purchase the shoe but the KD 9 coming out in a couple of month so I'll just pass. If you would like to purchase the shoe it will cost you 200 dollars.

New Yeezy Boost ???!!!

Rumor had it that there was supposedly a Yeezy 550 boost coming soon. Now with detailed  photos of a new Yeezy boost, is there really a Yeezy boost 550? Kanye West has been seen wearing an unreleased Yeezy boost with a huge stripe that comes along the middle. People didn't know what to call the shoe, so many called it the " Yeezy 550 boost".  The shoe looks very similar to the Yeezy 350 boost but this model has a huge stripe. The stripe does have text which says " SPLY-350" which nobody knows what that means. The pattern of the shoe is also different than the initial pattern on the 350. Many people are wondering when the shoe will be released. As of right now, there is now set price and there also isn't a set release date too. I would estimate that the shoe will debut late summer almost early fall but that's just an estimate. To me, I really don't like the shoe. I think the touch of orange with a gray shoe really doesn't fit my style. I would like the shoe if Adidas did switch up the colors. I think a black shoe with a white stripe would look really nice. This shoe like all Yeezys will probably be a sellout and reach resell prices of $800 dollars. To conclude, I really don't like this model, mainly the colors. Anyways, thanks for reading.

Will the Thunder Eliminate the Mavs in 5 Games???

Alright, its NBA playoff time. Today I'll be talking about if the Thunder will eliminate the Mavericks on Monday. My unbiased answer, yes. Yeah, I'm a thunder fan but if the Thunder can crush the Mavs by 38, lose by 1 to the Mavs when KD is off the entire game makes me scratch my head. Plus, the Thunder are playing in OKC so they have an advantage. Also since the Mavs are down 3-1, they will play very nervously and will probably shoot unnecessary shots. I think they can pull of the win in OKC tomorrow if KD and Westbrook play as they usually do. They might lose if both Westbrook and KD aren't playing their best but for the most part they will win. Now if they win, they advance to the second round where they play the Spurs or the Grizzlies. The Spurs have a 3-1 lead and will probably will advance into  the second round. The Spurs are a really good team, both on offense and defense. I think the second round matchup between Oklahoma City and San Antonio will go into at least 6 or 7 games because both teams play on a very high level. I hope the Thunder do win both in the first and second round but I can't say for sure. Maybe the Mavs will comeback and eliminate the Thunder in the first round. Who knows? All in all, I think the Thunder will advance into the second round.

Warriors breaking the record, Kobe's Last Game.

Welcome back you guys. Today I wanted to talk about Kobe's last game as well as the Golden State Warriors new record, but first let's talk about Golden State. The Warriors were on pursuit of trying to tie or break the 1995-1996 Chicago Bulls best record ( 72-10). They tied the record beating the Spurs and now had a chance to break it if they beat the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday. As most people know, they did pull out a win meaning that they hold the best record of all time with 73 wins and 9 losses. This is a crazy record to break but the Warriors were determined to break it and they did. I'd like to congratulate the Warriors for holding the best record of all time. Anyways moving on, let's talk about Kobe's last game which is what most people are talking about. To end his long and wonderful 20 year career, Kobe played one more time at Staples Center against the Utah Jazz. I did hear that Staples Center was extremely crowed with Lakers fans around the world and this does show the amount of people that support and love Kobe from all over the world. During the first couple minutes of the game, Kobe was on a shooting slump missing multiple shots. Then things changed, he started to make his shots consistently and began to add up his point total. At half time he had around 25 points. Now in the second half of the game, that's when the Black Mamba came alive, he was a scoring machine. At the end of the third quarter he had 37 points and was expected to rest for half of the 4th quarter but suddenly he was out on the court to play the entire fourth quarter. Now the fourth quarter was extremely exciting. He was making almost all his shots and the crowed exploded when he made the mid range jumper to take the lead. He had 58 points before he was fouled to shoot his last free throws of his career. His first career points were from free throws and his final points would also be from free throws. Kobe had 60 points in total leaving a bang to his career. Anyways. thank you for reading and tune in for next weeks blog.

Jordan 12 Wings

So the Jordan 12 "Wings" just released yesterday and were probably the hardest shoe to get this April. There were only 12000 pairs available worldwide so chances were pretty slim. The price on the shoe was set to $190 but Jordan brand updated the price to $225 dollars. The shoe looks exactly like the Jordan 12 Playoff but with a touch of gold on the shoe. I really do like this shoe but not so much of a fan of the price tag. Two hundred twenty five dollars is pretty expensive for a shoe. The materials of the shoe aren't premium so the price tag really doesn't make sense. Like I said before, the shoe was extremely difficult to get online. So many people were trying to get their hands on the shoe making chances pretty slim. Resell price of the shoe currently is 800 dollars which in my opinion is insane for a shoe. All in all, I would pass on the shoe just because of the price tag but if you were lucky enough to get a pair you can make some cash and resell it. That's it for today, thanks for reading.

Switching Things Up, Nike Hyperadapt 1.0 Thoughts and Opinions

You're probably thinking what I mean by " switching things up"? Basically, I'm going to add some sneaker posts to my blog. Writing about basketball does get a little bit repetitive and I want to keep things fresh on my blog. So, I've decided to write about another passion I have which is sneakers. So every other week, there will be a blog on sneakers. Anyways I don't want to write a whole blog post about switching up so lets talk about todays topic. Today, I want to talk about the Nike Hyperadapt 1.0. If you haven't heard about it, its Nike's first power lacing shoe. "You're probably thinking What in the world is a power lacing shoe." As Nike says, the shoe is basically uses modern technology to adjust the fit and grip on someone's foot. The shoe is also a light up which will bring a lot of attention to potential buyers. The shoe was first unveiled in an event in New York. Nike hasn't said much about the shoe in terms of price and release date. The only thing they have said is that the shoe will release during the holiday season which could mean some extra cash for Nike. In my opinion, I think these shoes will be retailed at around 300 to 400 dollars because of these new features on the shoe. One question I do have about the shoe is the light on the midsole. I wonder if that light will be rechargeable or not. It probably will just like the Nike Air Mag. All in all, I really would like to get this shoe on release date but I probably pass on the release just because I want to see other thoughts and opinions on the shoe. Anyways, thank you so much for reading and next weeks blog will be on basketball.

Yeezy Boost 750 "Choclolate" Won't Release Until Early Summer

So many sneakerheads were hyped about the Yeezy 750 Boost "Chocolate" which was rumored to be released on March 18th. Well unfortunately, according to many sources there was not going to be a Yeezy release until early summer which is probably around late April and May. Many Yeezy boost releases are extremely hyped and many people will do anything to get their hands on a pair of Yeezy Boosts. The Choclolate Yeezy 750 boost is retailed at 350 dollars but since their so hard to get prices inflate to around 1000 and 2000 dollars for the shoe.  The last Yeezy Boost release which was the Pirate Black that released on Febuary 13th sold out in 0.06 seconds according to Adidas. That's expensive for a shoe isn't it? Anyways, I guess many sneakerheads will just have to be patient and wait until "early summer" for this release. Anyways that really about it for the Yeezy boost 750 so yeah. Thank you so much for reading amd I hope you have a great day.
